ÅBEN DANS is a company that is able to change style and expression from performance to performance. However, the non-abstract humanity performed with the body as the core and a try to communicate directly with the audience, is one of our trademarks. We work closely together with the styles - music, visual art, and architecture, and we are not afraid of taking chances and being radical in exploring the possibilities within dance in new contexts. We create stage art by setting our own conditions and at the same time the audience is impressed and provoked. We want to challenge boundaries and simultaneously we want to entertain with a mix of humour, insanity, seriousness and aesthetics. We want to make popular avant garde.
